Sorry for the multiple postings today...new to CruiseCritic and wanted to get all of our upcoming cruises posted!

 

My husband Liam and I (married since October 2014) will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary with friends in London then taking the Eurostar to Paris for a 7-night cruise to Normandy. This will be our 6th cruise but first river cruise.

 

We are a little concerned about being the only gay dudes on a cruise largely populated by straight older people, but oh well. The best vacations are the ones where you push yourself out of your comfort zone a little.

It was absolutely fine. Some stares from some of the more elderly passengers, but it didn't bother us at all. The only issue with the crew was that they set the room up with two single beds rather than one double bed. When we went and asked to have it fixed, they couldn't have been more apologetic.
