Carnival Splendor balcony question?

 Share

Recommended Posts

We are booked to sail the Splendor in November 2015 and have a balcony room on the upper deck. As I look at several pictures, it looks like the life boats are just beneath the balconies . My question to those who have sailed the Splendor and had a room on this deck, are the life boats blocking your view of the water ? Thank you in advance for all who can help.

No problem with lifeboats. They won't block any view. But like pp said, you might have noise from whatever is below you. Promenade deck 5 is all public space, and some spots can be noisy. It depends on where exactly your room is. Deck 7 would be a safer bet, only rooms both above & below.

Thanks for all the responses. My concern was if I were on the balcony and looked down towards the water, that the life boat would be all that I would see. Hope the noise isn't too bad, I am sure it will all be just fine!!!
