Portage Glacier from Anchorage?

we are considering to visit Portage Glacier after our cruise ending in Seward.

Sadly we cannot rent a car at Seward for just one night...

 

Is there any opportunity to start the tour from Anchorage to Portage Glacier, are there any private guides offering such a tour?
