Dress Code

We leave next Saturday for our 8 days cruise to the Southern Caribbean and need some info about the formal dining nights. Will they let my husband into the formal dining room on formal nights if he does not have a jacket. He will wear a tie and dress pants but does not want to bring a jacket.

Please advise. Thanks.

Hi,

Carnival does not require jacket or tie on "elegant" night.

They only ask that men wear a shirt with a collar and slacks. Your husband will be just fine!

That is what my hubby wears also, just a dress shirt and tie, dress pants and dress shoes. Usually there are 2 formal nights and he will bring 1 dress pants with 2 shirts and 2 ties. Some dress to the 9's in tuxes etc... but he has never looked out of place, and most are wearing the same as him... Enjoy your cruise! ;)
