It will be HOT and HUMID...you are only about 8 degrees off the equator there!

 

If you are outside and get too hot...go inside. Do NOT pay for loungers at this stop...there will be plenty of anyone who wants one....

In Cartagena, we took the excursion to the mud volcano. It was a lot of fun. I don't remember it being particularly stifling.

 

Ah yes, the mud volcano. That was fun. That was on our second time to Cartagena, though. For first-timer, I'd still advise seeing the town.

Just go to the covered Lotus Pool area. We spent a lot of time there and it was quiet and uncrowded. We never had a problem finding a lounger (and they are nicer than the ones around the outside pool.)

 

Agree! Going to the Lotus Pool area worked out great for us! :)
