nordski Posted May 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2015 One of the criticisms that is frequently seen on this forum, especially from those on the Star, is the failure of Viking Oceans in terms of communication concerning passenger issues. As some will know, this theme has also been present on the River Cruise Forum, a theme that emerges particularly when problems have occurred such as unnavigable water levels on the rivers. Although we have experienced Viking River Cruises, we were not brave enough to join an inaugural cruise on the Star, anticipating the difficulties that any such cruise might entail. So, I wish to thank those braver than we are, and hope that their comments lead to improvements in communications. Apparently there may be some who see such comments as unduly negative. I see them as an opportunity for Viking to raise its game and provide a clear alternative in this market. Clear communications onboard would be a very good area to address.
