rosemont5380 Posted May 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Not sure about other deck and cabins, but just got off the Pride last week and cabin 5131 did not have the flat screens.

Marmarjudy Posted May 29, 2015 #10 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Anyone rhyme or reason to which cabins/decks now have flat screen TVs? Just curious. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Absolutely none. We just got off, 4232 old TV, 4230 flat screen.
bigdog1958 Posted May 29, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 29, 2015 That's kind of ridiculous, no? Who cares..... people actually watch tv while they are on a cruise.... mine might be on 30 min a day while I am getting ready for the day or changing for dinner... to many other things to do on a cruise to be sitting inside a small cabin watching tv
nokidz Posted May 29, 2015 #12 Share Posted May 29, 2015 We were in 4162 and 4164 at the end of April and they did not have the flat screen. I beleive they are replacing a bunch at a time, and or when the old TVs go kaput.
Weeziblu Posted May 29, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Who cares..... people actually watch tv while they are on a cruise.... mine might be on 30 min a day while I am getting ready for the day or changing for dinner... to many other things to do on a cruise to be sitting inside a small cabin watching tv Thanks for not answering the question I asked but instead being concerned with what others are doing with their own vacation time. Why is it that people feel the need to reply to topics when they do not have answers to the questions asked, or if the disagree with the OP, or in this case, just feel the need to judge and tell others how they should feel or spend their time on vacation. Please don't waste your time or mine with this type of response in the future. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Weeziblu Posted May 29, 2015 Author #14 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Thanks for the replies... There definitely does not seem to be any rhyme or reason. I've been booked for the better part of a year and have no intention of changing cabins for a TV or anything else... I was just curious. 👍😉 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
WahooFan Posted May 31, 2015 #15 Share Posted May 31, 2015 I hope ours gas a flat screen. I was on the Pride in September 2012 and the TV was unwatchable. I like putting it on to see where we are at but not to watch tv. We are in 6267 and I hope it's flat. If not then it surely won't ruin my cruise, LOL. Rare mitsugirly Posted May 31, 2015 #16 Share Posted May 31, 2015 After many reviews coming back after the new 2.0 upgrades...each cabin varies and there's no way to know if a specific cabin does or does not have the flat screens now...short of everyone posting what they had at the time they were on it. We were in a balcony 5247 and it had the flat screen tv. :)

cbMcruiser Posted June 8, 2015 #19 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Anyone rhyme or reason to which cabins/decks now have flat screen TVs? Just curious. Sent from my iPhone using Forums This is important to some. We have a grandson with minor CP and he spends a decent amount of time in his/our room. The amount of effort he spends getting on/off for excursions and getting to other ship venues cause him to need "re0charge" times in the room. He brings a game system with him and depending on the TV in the room, there is a choice to which one he hooks up to. Just because some people can't imagine this, others plan because of this! tandemcruzr Posted June 8, 2015 #20 Share Posted June 8, 2015 8232 this past January. Flat screen. Don't know why some do and some don't.

eas2225 Posted June 8, 2015 #22 Share Posted June 8, 2015 7172, May 24th. We were told that as the old ones wear out, they will be replaced with the flat screens. Seems plausible.
Sir Cruise-a-Lot Posted June 8, 2015 #23 Share Posted June 8, 2015 When we last sailed the Pride we had a flat screen TV but it wasn't much different in size than the old tub set. I guess the 16-9 ratio was the only real difference.

cantthinkofanythingfun Posted June 10, 2015 #25 Share Posted June 10, 2015 If you can get your TV to "malfunction", you will probably have a flat screen by the end of the cruise.
