Kenai Fjords excursion with lunch

Doing land and sea with RCCL in a few weeks, looking to book Kenai Fjords excursion with buffet lunch. We have questions about the timing for boarding the cruise, and what will happen with your carry-on luggage. Royals website says with our package this excursion is an option, just not sure about the timing, etc....anyone ever take this trip the day of embarkation?

Yes, you can easily do these tours embarkation day, since the cruise line is offering it. The key would be- the precise tour which you do not list. Carry ons stay with you. You can easily book this independent, which you may want to consider.

 

IF you are talking about a "buffet" on the boat tour- that will be with Major Marine- with the $19 meal add on. I do prefer this vendor who does a spectacular job, and have Park Service rangers on board. Especially if any kids, for the Jr Ranger badges.

 

IF you are referring to the salmon bake at Fox Island, then that would be with Kenai Fjords tours.

 

Most important, the tour, has to be at least 6 hours on the water. Compare route maps, especially with the Fox Island option as "time" is in addition.

 

It depends where you are the night before- hopefully Seward?
