Pacs82 Posted June 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2015 We booked a cruise a few months from now. My husband booked it on the phone and was told we could book connecting rooms(we are taking our kids along) so we did that. I was looking at the deck plans on Carnivals website and our rooms aren't shown as connecting. My husband thinks they are but I am unsure. I plan on calling later just to be sure. So my question is do the deck plans always show a connecting room?
pinniped71 Posted June 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2015 The rooms should have little white arrows between them to indicate connecting.
mrsfuzzmo Posted June 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Yes, on the Carnival website, look a the deck plan of the ship that you are on. Locate your cabin. The connecting rooms have a little white triangle between the cabins that are adjoining. If your cabin does not have a triangle connecting to the other correct cabin number, they do not adjoin. cb at sea Posted June 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Side by side cabins are "adjoining". "Connecting" cabins have a door to connect the 2 spaces.....with kids, you want "connecting" cabins.

Luvcruzing2 Posted June 5, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 5, 2015 You may have connecting balconies instead of connecting rooms. I called the other day as I had an email of an upgrade. They wanted me to pay $40 per room to go to a higher deck where the balconies connect, but not the rooms.
