I have never seen free cards - just the 10% discount. Still a very good deal.

Thank you. $10 off $100 is good I guess.

Better I have the $10 then CCL.

Thank you very much for this thread! I would never have known to check.

I know this was probably answered on the really really long thread but how are the cards added to your Sail and Sign? Last time we used these we had the e-certificates so they needed to be scanned by the guest services desk. Can these be put on at check-in in the terminal, at the kiosks or do you have to go to guest services?

Again, I apologize if this has been answered.

The Guest Service desk can add the cards to your sail and sign or you can add them at the kiosk. You can also buy excursions online with them, or pay for your cruise online with them. The future cruise desk will also take them for the down payment if you want to book on-board.

Question, I had no idea there were reward points. I just checked out my verizon account and I have 152,070 points. Is this a lot, or a little, and how does it work?

It takes 1,000 points to get a $10 discount on a $100 gift card. You can use the gift cards to pay for your cruise, excursions, and Sail & Sign bill. There are no restrictions so Tips, Bar, and Casino charges can all be paid with the gift cards. It's like 10% off of your cruise on top of any other discounts or promotions.

You can also get other gift cards so this isn't limited to Carnival or cruising.

Mine took about a week to get to NC. I bought them on a Tuesday. Got a phone call from Verizon on Friday verifying th purchase and they were delivered on Tuesday by UPS requiring a signature

If I put the gift cards on my S&S card, can I use it in the casino?

I did just that on my last cruise and plan to on my cruise next month also. The 10% off helps take the sting out of losing! Just get it from the slots instead of the tables to avoid the 3% fee.

So, I ordered $400 worth of gift cards on 6/4th and the Verizon website posts shipped 6/5th. As of today I still have not gotten them. I know since it was not $500 they were sent regular mail. Does this timeframe seem normal? I called Verizon Smart Rewards just in case but they said they don't do anything until it has been at least 10 business days which puts me to Friday. I am probably just jumping the gun but just don't like $400 floating around in the US Postal System

Also worth noting there is a $1000 carnival gift certificate in the auction section on Verizon rewards. Current bid is in the 251,000 point. Way more points than I have, so I can't bid.

If someone else has a bunch of points, get in on it! It ends 6-19 at 9:30 eastern time.

When I ordered mine, Verizon provided me with a email & tracking # several days later. I ordered mine on the 15th, got an email from Verizon on the 16th. UPS tracking # said it will be here on the 18th...

I'd suggest checking your Inbox and see if you missed an email from Verizon?

I just print mine out online and take with me on ship. No need to go they regular mail

The electronic version of the gift cards has not been available for a while now. For the last several weeks, only the actual physical cards have been on the site, and those obviously have to be mailed/shipped. It's confusing because the description refers to an "E gift card," but when you add it to the cart, the only delivery option is by mail.

Good Morning,

Still no cards !!!!

Same here.

So today is the 19th, and if they don't arrive in today's mail, they will open up and "investigation" for the one I purchased on the 5th.

The ones I purchased last week haven't arrived either. And I would have to wait another week to have those "investigated" if they don't get here.

I literally have a folder full of gift cards. Never had this problem.
