Cruising-along Posted June 8, 2015 #26 Share Posted June 8, 2015 I think perhaps the choice of formal night or no formal night comes down to the scattering of chicken bones or reading tea leaves, or some other divination, as I was surprised as well, but my PVP person told me there would be one, and the docs showed it as well... and lo and behold, it happened. So, I got to get the teenage boys to dress up and look sharp. Sadly at $40 per sheet, I was too cheap to buy the photos. I wish I had, but oh well. I'm sure you're right (about the chicken bones and tea leaves) :D I have heard of some coastal cruises having a formal night, just have never experienced it. Glad you could enjoy it! bonvoyagebites Posted June 9, 2015 Author #29 Share Posted June 9, 2015 Really enjoyed the video. Do you have any of the menus you can share? I still plan on getting these for you. Sorry so slow... today I had to return to the real world (the office)... boo.
legalslave Posted June 9, 2015 #30 Share Posted June 9, 2015 Thank you so much for making and posting the video. The Ms Amsterdam still has the class I remember when we sailed her in 2003. For some reason, I am now hungry! Diane
bonvoyagebites Posted June 9, 2015 Author #31 Share Posted June 9, 2015 I feel like I should give music credit to my 13 year old who wrote the music for the video. A longer loop would have been nice, but I rushed him :)

bonvoyagebites Posted June 10, 2015 Author #33 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Thanks, Brucory. It was good stuff, and a video was a little bit of an afterthought, but I am glad I did it. It was a lot of fun, and people seem to really like it.
