Kooolmomma Posted June 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2015 If anyone has been on previous extended cruises on the Prinsendam, which includes Venice as a stop, do you know which port the Prinsendam docks in Venice. I had all this information about Stazione Marittima but now I came to find out that we may be docked at San Basegio - the one for smaller ships. Langoustine Posted June 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2015 If your ship does dock at San Basilio (not San Basegio, it's very convenient to the tourist part of Venice via Vaporetto Line 2.
mapleleaves Posted June 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2015 Call HAL. What specifically do you need to know? Since you're already on the ship you're not looking for directions to the airport or pier. Both piers are in the same general area ..... are you wondering about how to get around for sightseeing? There are a few pages of info on the VeniceforVisitors site depending on what you need. http://europeforvisitors.com/venice/articles/venice-cruise-terminal.htm
Kooolmomma Posted June 7, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted June 7, 2015 I like to plan ahead of time and just wanted to be aware of the terminal location for site seeing options. Mary Lou
