What is it like staying on the Lido Deck?

We're considering staying on the Lido deck but need advice first. On all 5 cruises we've stayed in the same location....almost all the way aft, usually 2 decks below Lido. Last time we stayed on a deck right under the Lido (but very aft near the deli & aft pool) and the noisy chair dragging was an issue during the night. We're wondering if we'd have better luck by choosing a room just forward of the lido pool?

What is it like staying on the Lido deck. Convenient, I'm sure. How's the noise? Crowd levels?

Thanks.

I have not personally stayed on the Lido but I am booked on the Lido on the Vista. Some friends of mine stayed on the Lido on our last cruise on the Glory and they did not have any noise issues. If I recall correctly, there was a double door buffer between the deck and the hallway to the cabins.

I have personally not stayed on the Lido deck before but after reading so many people say how wonderful and convenient it is, we decided to book it.

Our favorite location is Aft, but on the Vista it's just a bit above our price range that we wanted to spend so we decided to give it a try. I does seem to sound nice being that close to to everything. I would say, if you are curious like us, then Why not try it??

I had more of a noise issue on Deck 8 on the Glory as I was forward and the music from the Atrium blasted us at night. Someone must have complained because after the first night heavy steel doors were closed each night around 9 p.m. to block the noise of the band.

We stayed in the very last cabin (next to doors to Lido) on the Panorama Deck (Deck 10) a couple weeks ago on the Liberty. I was really concerned about noise from the Lido Deck. It was none existent. Even when we were on our balcony we couldn't hear any thing from Lido at night. During the day we could hear music from Lido but it definitely was not bothersome. The location was awesome! Close to everything yet still quiet.

Thanks everyone! I really don't want our nights to be plagued by chairs being dragged and stacked each night. Seems it should be OK in this location.

You won't likely have a problem hearing dragging of chairs, the people who complain about this are people who stay under the lido deck. :)

This is why I always check deck plans before booking a cabin. I make sure there are cabins above and below. ;)

We have had 3 balconies right inside the port side Lido deck doors. It has become our favorite location. Never any noise and so convenient to the pool area and buffets. Right by the Atrium elevators so easy access to the lobby, casino, shops etc. Love it.

We won't be enjoying one on the Vista though as we'll be trying out a Havana Cabana :D

I will be on the Lido for the 2/25/17 sailing.

Been on Lido on the Breeze and Freedom. Love it. Never any noise issues.

We always do insides so I cant comment on noise you may hear on a Lido balcony.

We stayed on Lido for the first time on the Breeze. Loved it, no issues at all. The best part was being close to the action. My wife liked being close to Blue Iguana Cantina. So when it came time to book on the Vista, it was a no brainer, Lido is it! Can't wait

Really like the lido cabins. Even with the balcony right inside the doors, there is no real noise from the deck area. We have a lido balcony on the TA. Have had one on a few prior cruises. Good spot!
