mysandyfeet Posted June 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2015 I have the UBP and was wondering what happens in the case of the Ice Bar? Is that included because of the drinks?
TrishaBarry Posted June 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2015 Not included... You pay a $20 cover and they give you 2 drink tickets to use inside the ice bar. We went in may and alot of people were giving their tickets away because it was to cold. We stayed in there for 15 to 20 minutes.
ejkmomco Posted June 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2015 We did the ice bar too. Was really cold, but they gave you warm parkas with hoods and gloves. Problem was sandals on our feet - no way to keep them warm!! Fun to do once - wouldn't do it again. Drinks are small for the price. But, it was for the novelty of it that we went. Daghis Posted June 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2015 figured too good to be true, maybe I'll hang around outside for those freebies ! You'd still have to pay the $20 admission fee to use the free tickets.

bjtravelnews Posted June 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Sailed the Breakaway June 21 - 28 to Bermuda with a group of 30. Several of us had the drink package, but still did the ice bar. It was fun to do with a group. We ranged in ago from about 35 to 70. For those who don't drink, there are non-alcoholic choices. Everything in the bar, except the walls, ceiling and floor is made of ice. Even the drinking glasses are made of ice (they are placed inside a plastic holder so your hands don't stick to the cup!) I believe the temp is 17 degrees F. We were all prepared for the cold, wearing long pants and sneakers. So with the parkas and gloves, we never felt cold, even after 20 minutes. It was great fun to do it with a group. We took lots of pictures and sat in the ice chair. Wouldn't do it again (unless it was free), but worth the extra cost for the novelty of it. Just a note - us "young at heart" ladies who did the ice bar were also the first ones to tackle the ropes course and walk the plank - what fun! bangzoom6877 Posted June 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 30, 2015 We plan to go to the ice bar on our cruise in 19 days. Never been to one, and $20 is reasonable for both the experience plus two drinks. Planning to wear jeans and sneakers when we go into there! :)
