Reflection questions

I feel stupid posting this since I think I ought to be able to figure this posting stuff out. Anyhow, we also are on Reflection and have basically similar drinking habits. Thanks for asking the question and I'll read the answers. I'll eventually figure out how to introduce myself to the Roll Call.

Drinks Pkg covers all gratuities on drinks. Your Gratuities Pkg pays all other gratuities.

Specialty resturants would be paid on board, if not chosen before hand. Same goes for excrusions. If they are booked on board, they are paid for on board.

All of the main entertainment comes with the cost of your cabin.

Thanks AtleeH! We're just trying to figure out the best way to manage money while we're away so it's good to know what will be needed on board. We're thinking a travel cash card so we can withdraw cash in port as needed, if we don't need cash on the boat.

About the only place on board where cash is used is the casino. I've never visited the casino on my long ago cruise nor my recent Silhouette cruise, so I'm on unsure ground.

I know the casinos have ATM machines. I've read on here that one can even get their OBC money, but at the cost of 5%. You take out $100 but only receive $95, with that 5% going in the Celebrity coffers.

As far as I know, everything else on board is charged to the sea pass, unless you have a pkg that pays for what you are buying.

At the end of the cruise, if you owe more than what your OBC will cover, the balance is charged to your credit card. If there is a credit on your sea pass, the credit disappears if the OBC is non refundable, which I understand most Celebrity supplied OBC is. It the credit is from a refundable OBC, many times given by your TA, the credit is put on your credit card.

Atlleeh is so on target with information above: It is so important to remember how the types of OBC work so you don't have a surprise later. Bring your paperwork in case there is an issue. We had a $200 issue with Celebrity and had our paperwork to prove it. It still took six days to clear. If they take your copies, make sure you have a copy to keep. It always amazes me how long it can take to fix things, yet taking your money is so fast. Check your statement in cabin daily!
