Internet Package on Pearl

I think I read somewhere on here that day 2 or 3 the offer unlimited for the price of 250 min. Somewhere in my chaos (we're on the same sailing on Sunday!) I've printed out dalies someone posted a few weeks ago.

Once in a while I see at free onboard internet promotion on some cruiselines. Given how bad the service is to begin with, if even more people are trying to access it because of this promotion, won't it become essentially worthless?

It might get a little worse, but people either use the internet, or they disconnect when on the ship. The "promo" will still cost more than most people buy, so I don't see it having a HUGE impact. There will be a few more than usual who will spring for it, but I doubt it will make it unbearable.
