Can gift cards be used like debit cards on board at bars, fun shops, etc. Sailing on Dream 7/27/2015. Thanks for your help..........

You will apply your gift cards to your sign and sail account as if they were cash. You can either load them yourself at a kiosk on board or go to Guest Services and they can add them to your account. If you don't spend all of the money from the gift cards you can get a refund once you are done purchasing things on the last night of your cruise. We did this in May and it was very easy.

You don't use anything on board except your S&S card.

You can also apply them to your account when you check in. I had several cards and the customer service rep was very helpful in applying them to my account. Funds were available as soon as I got on board.

Yes, you just close out your account the last night and you will get a cash refund.

i don't believe you get cash back - i believe you get money back on that gift card to use in the future...you should find out. otherwise people would buy the verizon cards at 10% off, apply to their account and walk away with the money. they stopped giving cash back for that reason.
