Lido vs Suite

I have booked a Lido balcony room but can upgrade to Suite on the Empress deck (7th). It's only a 4 day get-away to celebrate our anniversary. I love being on the Lido... Is having a suite worth it? Help!!!

I would stay on Lido. That is our favorite location. The only call I got from upsale fairy was a pretty good deal but I did not want to go from Lido to deck six so I declined. close to lots of fun stuff

I personally would upgrade, but then I love the Empress deck. Cabins above and cabins below. I don't care to be too close to all of the action/noise. Depends on what's more important to you...steps from the action or peace when you need/want it. Happy cruising either way!

The lido deck is my favorite place to be on board. I have also become a fan of the Empress deck having sailed on it on the Imagination last year, it was such a convenient spot for everything. Having said that I probably would stay put. If it were for a week I would probably reconsider. On Carnival the main difference in the suite (besides the roominess) is that you'll have a bathroom with a tub as opposed to a shower. You'll have priority embarkation and debarkation. There's not much more of a difference IMO.

Whatever your decision, enjoy your cruise.
