Vacationlover2 Posted July 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2015 For $455 I can go from large balcony to mini-suite with large balcony on the Breakaway to Bermuda. There will be 4 of us, 2 adults 2 children. Would you do the upgrade at that price? What would we gain? I believe it is just a bigger bathroom and slightly bigger balcony. Is that accurate? Thanks! ncklhaus Posted July 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2015 We had an M6 on Breakaway and I can tell you that I feel the price difference is worth it, especially for 4 people (we're only 3). I was debating between the B6 or the M6 for our next cruise and my husband insisted on the M6. To him, the bathroom size difference and the balcony size difference are really worth the money. I'm certainly not going to argue.:D

FYI, mini-suites on BA do NOT have a dividing curtain between the bed and the other sleeping area, unlike minis on some other NCL ships. This spreadsheet shows you stats on both cabin types (B6 vs. M6): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10YW7fMQarer30UCHKqKJ_zLDmbyMTczCTtYf2XRflh8/pub?single=true&gid=0&output=html Personally, not sure it would be worth it, for me. Cruzncutie Posted July 18, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 18, 2015 I'd definitely do it. The bathroom sink has two faucets which allows two ppl to brush teeth and wash face together. It's a time saver in the morning and evening. It's like having two bathrooms minus the obvious reasons why one would want to be in there alone [emoji57]. Not to mention that huge balcony! Thanks! $455 total? yes, do it. large balcony = 70sq ft large mini-suite balcony = 105sq ft and yes a bigger bathroom. the mini-suite bathroom will have 2 wash basins so 2 people can brush their teeth/wash their face/etc at the same time. very handy when u have 4 in a cabin. edit: oh.. get the mini-suite on the port side if u can. you can view the fireworks on Fri nite from your balcony if it's on the port side.
