Breakaway cabin phones and luggage drops

Hey all,

 

Maybe this is a silly question, but are cabin to cabin phone calls free? We'll be cruising in two weeks and for the first time, we'll have family with us; it's always just been my wife and I before.

 

Also, does anyone know where the carry-on luggage drop is for the Breakaway? Last time we dropped it off in our cabin (even though it wasn't ready yet) but this time, there are four of us and two cabins (one on deck 5, the other on 12). Since my sister-in-law and her husband are first time cruisers and not English speakers, we were thinking it would be better if we can stick together at first. Is there a standard drop-off spot for carry on baggage?

calls within the ship are free. I was under the impression that you were expected to carry your carry on with you until the room was ready, so I can't answer that part.

I never did see a place to drop off carry on's on the BA. We just wheeled them to the Manhattan room and had a lunch. By the time we were done around 1pm all cabins where ready
