Air Fare--Barcelona Spain to Orlando or Miami

We booked a repositioning cruise for May 2006 and we need one way flights from Barcelona to either Orlando or Miami. I have checked expedia and the flights seem quite expensive. Any suggestions?

Try http://www.airlineconsolidator.com/. I picked a random date at the end of May and they show some one way flights from BCN to Miami or FLL for about $500. That's still much higher than we are paying for our flights from JFK to BCN in Nov, but it is considerably less than the $1,000+ that I found elsewhere.

Have you considered airfare from the cruise line? We are returning from Barcelona to Washington, DC in May 2006. The custom airfare we got was with British Airways home , and we were able to upgrade to Travellers World Plus for only $150/person more! Total airfare for round trip was $739. Couldn't beat it!

We are also returning from Barcelona in May and using British Airways. How were you able to upgrade to Plus for only $150? Our Custom Air quote was for more than $1,000 pp.
