KayKayKay Posted July 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2015 Hello. I'm going to be in San Juan on August 2 with my 7 year old twins. I'm looking for some interested parties to join us in searching for seaglass at the beach across from the Capitol on Sunday, August 2. It is a short walk from the cruise terminal. Low tide looks to be around 4:00 p.m. so I was thinking we would try to go from 2-4 p.m. (but am flexible on time). Please let me know if you are interested as I don't want to go alone! It is a no cost activity and you could end up with free souvenirs!!

Good luck in finding something It is big EBay business in the USA and San Juan, being regularly bulk harvested Be careful as the beach attracts lowlife, and has dangerous jagged rocks etc. Would not take young children there. There are more genteel things to see and do in OSJ

caribsun Posted January 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Just returned (1/22/16) and went to the Capitol beach and collected a pocket full of sea glass. No rocks, just other families doing the same. Walking down the stairs, there is evidence of low life activity.
