jtl513 Posted September 19, 2015 #51 Share Posted September 19, 2015 I wondered too, so I shook a partial bottle of gin and a partial bottle of water. In the gin a whole lot of fine bubbles formed and quickly disappeared. In the water, no fine bubbles. :D Same thing with vodka and rum. :)
SeaBands Posted September 19, 2015 #52 Share Posted September 19, 2015 we bring back cheese and pate from the markets as well as great bagettes. I have brought back all kinds of things in Europe and the Med - especially olives (yum), cheese, pate, flowers (they go through with me - the rest is checked) and yes, even wine. The wine I pay corkage on gladly and the food is all checked through with no issue. there are some things that are hard to resist when you are in port :)
MrsMuir Posted September 19, 2015 #54 Share Posted September 19, 2015 I had forgotten to pack Crystal Light, which I mix in the pitcher and add to vodka in the stateroom. It pays to read CC!!
