Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted August 2, 2015 Author #26 Share Posted August 2, 2015 When are you cruising? We are in 8230. We don't get the huge balcony, but the location looks pretty good. We were in 6227 in June. Loved that location! :) We're sailing Jan
aflyingbuttress Posted August 10, 2015 #27 Share Posted August 10, 2015 Anyone have an opinion on 7351? It's a aft facing cabin, which I was initially excited about, but now am worried after reading a number of reviews about the vibrations. We're traveling with a 3 year old and my husband is 6'4 so the extra balcony room sounds nice.

stargate fan Posted August 10, 2015 #29 Share Posted August 10, 2015 Those extended balconies as you noted are over the lifeboats, but are also in the recessed parts of the ship. So if you like to look down, left or right, there will never be a direct line to the water or the ends of the ship. And this May not matter to you. But any extra room is always a plus. It not a lot of extra, but it is not enough not to have to squeeze around things. The furniture is the same. It's funny you say this because I am one to whom this matters a great deal. I love standing on the balcony, my chin resting on my hands which are folded on the railing, looking straight down to the ocean. I have stood like that for a very, very long time. Hence, on Spirit class ships we always book Verandah deck, regular balcony, mid-ship.

We want to be able to look straight down to the water also.
