keelann0604 Posted August 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Hi, When on Azura last year they had theme nights, Caribbean Night, Black & White night - can anyone confirm if this is standard with P&O cruises, i.e. will Britannia too have these theme nights? Only asking so we know what to pack :) Thank You K
wilson2579 Posted August 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2015 I am on Britannia in 2 weeks and I am packing for the usual theme nights. Can't see it being any different.
Scorpio41 Posted August 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2015 On a two week cruise one of the formal nights will be black & white.
Florry Posted August 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Hi I was on a 12 nighter on Britannia last month, the only themed night was B&W but I think it tells you either on line or in the book they send out prior.

Florry Posted August 1, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Yes a longer cruise to a warmer climate is almost certain to have a tropical night. If not he can wear it on a formal night to cause a riot [emoji6]

swangirl Posted August 5, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 5, 2015 We were on Britannia in June, we had a black and white night but no Tropical night. I emailed P&O to ask if this is going to be the norm and they confirmed Britannia will not have a Tropical night.

I shall have to donate my loud shirt to charity - it's the only time that I get chance to wear it! Or maybe dye it black?
pickledoeuf Posted August 6, 2015 #13 Share Posted August 6, 2015 what a shame! one of my favourite childhood photos is of me and my sister as kids on Canberra and my dad is wearing his loud tropical shirt and my mum is wearing her calypso dress. :D I wonder why they are retiring this great old tradition? (we called it 'Island Night') Are they still doing it on Ventura? (we are going in Sept and I was planning on packing my partner's silly shirt.) Mewat Posted August 6, 2015 #14 Share Posted August 6, 2015 I hope they are still doing it on Ventura as I have just bought a very brightly coloured dress for our cruise in October! Michele

Michele I am taking my bright dress anyway. A cruise isn't the same without it and hubby's tropical shirt;)
Rare P&O SUE Posted August 6, 2015 #16 Share Posted August 6, 2015 They still had Tropical night on Azura in June so I would expect Ventura to be the same.
