yoj13 Posted August 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2015 Our friends are sailing to Alaska with NCL. They have been contacted by NCL asking if they would be interested in a $166 'food upgrade' Has anyone heard of this please and if so, what does it entail. laurabegorrah Posted August 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) That's close to the price of either a 4 or 5 day SDP for 2 people (depending on if you add in the 18% or not). Did your friends give you any details on what they were told was included in this? Edited August 4, 2015 by laurabegorrah

laurabegorrah Posted August 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2015 I just did the math, and the price for 1 person, 7 day SDP is $165.70 ($140 for package +18% tax) I'm thinking that's it!
yoj13 Posted August 4, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted August 4, 2015 I'm thinking you are right Laura! They are not seasoned cruisers and when they first mentioned it I thought it could be another way of selling 'speciality dining'. Thank you for your input. cruzsnooze Posted August 5, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 5, 2015 The 7 night specialty dinner package is $119 plus $21 for a total of $140. How long is your cruise OP?
