jacksmom09 Posted August 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2015 I booked FTF but when I printed luggage tags they don't reflect this? Is this right?? Tia for input!
girli565 Posted August 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2015 (edited) I just printed my luggage tags and they have a circle on them that says "faster to the fun" in it. Edited to add: and they also have "F2F" on the colored part. Edited August 5, 2015 by girli565
vwrestler171 Posted August 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2015 They should have the FTF logo on them.
jacksmom09 Posted August 5, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Thanks for the reply! I just looked again and they do have FTF on them in small print! Guess it's just last minute nerves!
kelkel2 Posted August 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Thanks for the reply! I just looked again and they do have FTF on them in small print! Guess it's just last minute nerves! It's ok! When we first did FTTF we expected it to be big and bold, but it wasn't. It took me a while to even notice it was there. But yes, you should have a round FTTF symbol and it should say F2F on it. If not try to re-print your tags.
boopsahoy Posted August 5, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Thanks for the reply! I just looked again and they do have FTF on them in small print! Guess it's just last minute nerves! When I pointed it out to the porters at embarkation, they put an additional FTTF tag on all my bags :D
near the beach Posted August 5, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 5, 2015 As boopsahoy mentioned when you give your luggage to the porters remind them you are priority or FTTF so they can put on the orange tag to expedite your luggage delivery to your cabin. Brighton Line Posted August 5, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 5, 2015 When I pointed it out to the porters at embarkation, they put an additional FTTF tag on all my bags :D Usually it is an orange sticker with the FTTF logo. Depending on the Port is when/where they are applied. NYC the longshoreman you hand the bag to did it right there. At Baltimore the person who took the bag from the car to the luggage cart train said it would be applied when the bag was processed (x-rayed on shore) that the priority handling does not start until deck sorting. In each case the bags beat us to the cabin and we went straight to the cabin when boarding. FWIW
DKane Posted August 6, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 6, 2015 If you printed out your luggage tags before you purchased FTTF, then you just have to reprint them and FTTF should now be on them. This happened to me so I logged back into my booking and saw that the tags were updated.
Martini Mom Posted August 6, 2015 #10 Share Posted August 6, 2015 My luggage came slower with FTTF than it ever has before. Don't know if it was a Freedom thing or what. FTTF was still super helpful for other things though. :)
