Can anyone share details about the food served in the Buffet at Night.

I noticed in the Celebrity Today. It has the dinner and then Chef's Late Night Selections.

Do they have appetizers? Soup? how many entrees? Anything prepared to order?

How does it change for late night?

What about drink service? cocktails and wine?

Thanks.

We were on the Infinity in March and ate several times in the buffet for our evening meal.

Great selection of starters, a couple of soups, salads, vegetables, curries, pizza, Sometimes Chinese dishes, cheeses etc. Every night there was also cooked to order steak, chicken, salmon, lamb or fish. Always cooked exactly as requested.

I do not know about cocktails but there was always wine, beer, spirits available.

I also do not know about the Chefs Late night selections. We were very happy with the buffet in the evening. I am sure that you will not be disappointed.

We prefer the dinner buffet more and more since the service in MDR slightly declined over the past few years. The buffet has a nice, decent selection of popular items.

Chef´s late night selections however, is nothing to rave about. I wouldn´t say, it´s leftovers. But to us, it almost looks like that since nobody from the staff is paying real attention. It contains cheese, cookies and some other random items.

Should you be craving for something tasty late night, go for the bistro on five or the complimentary room service.

Really ?did not remember that late. Maybe 11 pm on our cruise.

Times do vary itinerary to itinerary, and sometimes day to day.

Actual operating times should be listed in the daily Celebrity Today.

....

We must have been on the Infinity with Bluebury as we boarded in mid-February for forty-two nights.

In addition to some of the items already mentioned we've found the made-to-order stir fry station to be great when the dinner menus don't appeal.

On the Reflection, there were theme meal stations for dinner. One each night. There were German, English, Asian, Mexican Dessert/Gyro station as examples. This is in addition to the regulars items. These foods were served from 6 to 9:30.

At 10 pm, there was Chef's Selections. There was a salad bar, sandwich meats and cheese, a pasta station, pizza, garlic bread, and light desserts like cookies and small pastries. This area was open until 1 am.

We eat at the buffet several time on every cruise. In the evening it is very quiet in the buffet. Mainly ships officers and sometime the Captain. The Indian dishes are very good. Several times they have had a suckling pig that they carved also lamb. Steaks, chicken, and fish cooked to order. They also have theme nights for different countries like British pub night and Thailand night. It may vary by ship.

Sushi is served until 9:30 PM.

Ice cream is served til about 10:00.

Pasta and pizza until 1:00am.
