Last October pax just left reading material on a small table. It wasn't labeled, just seemed a logical place to put them.

They used to have a crew member sitting in the library writing down what you took to make sure you brought it back. This past year it was just open and you could go in and take what you wanted and bring it back(or not).

You could certainly leave books there and take out others if that is what you mean by a "book exchange".

No book exchange perse. Library doesnt have much in it.

 

Some passengers like us will finish paperbacks and leave them for others but not many did that last year on Hawaii run.

 

Carnival used to have a lot more stuff in the library but it is dwindling fast.

For me ,there is enough light reading to keep my happy.

For Mr. Riff there's nothing much as he prefers non fiction.

I'd certainly bring my own books and then just use the library on board as a back up!

I don't remember seeing one. The library has very limited hours for checking out a book. I got to where I'd never use the library, just bring my own. I finally got a Kindle, which is about the best invention since sliced bread.

 

"was" the best invention. Kindle Unlimited is the new best invention! Saves my wife and i hundreds each year.
