Are special deals ever made on excursions if you book them onboard? I know they have spa specials all the time. We are going to get some additional OBC through our RCI visa.

Are special deals ever made on excursions if you book them onboard? I know they have spa specials all the time. We are going to get some additional OBC through our RCI visa.

 

I am by no means the most experienced cruiser on this board, but I have never seen an onboard excursion deal.

 

I have saved money booking directly with the excursion company, bypassing the cruise line. But make sure you know what you are doing if choose this option.

 

I have also gotten deals by paying the excursion people in port when we get there (no reservation, just walk up). But if it is a busy day in port, or a really popular excursion you may not get the excursion you want.

 

Of course neither of those are options with your OBC.

I have never seen any deals on ship excursions. We almost always pre book private excursions.
