weaselwatchr Posted August 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2015 I tried to search the forums but couldn't find the answer, so I thought I would ask. My mother in law just mentioned that she had heard you can NO longer bring your own soda on board to consume during your cruise. We always bring a case in our extra bag that we use for souvenirs on the way home. We have cruised more recently than she has, so I am not sure where she is getting her info about this. We head off in a couple months to Hawaii and would like to be sure. Thanks for your help
Loonbeam Posted August 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2015 There are many threads on this. Carnival has changed their policy, not Princess

Their policy changed early last month (July, 2015) and affected water in plastic bottles. On Princess, at least as of 9 August 2015, you can still bring water in bottles on board. You can either bring it on board as carry-on or stick a Princess luggage tag on the case and have it brought on as checked baggage. I'm not sure if you can do it as checked baggage at every port, but I know you can at Seattle. Hope you have a great cruise! Tom

Pierlesscruisers Posted August 11, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2015 And every other beverage in plastic bottles. Yes, you're correct. I was thinking they'd asked about water, but that was not correct. Thanks for catching that. Tom

Corfe Mixture Posted August 13, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 13, 2015 Keith, do you think that also will go for Pelligrino in Rome? Don't know about Rome, but we always bring on 12 bottles of 'San Pé' at Port Everglades, no problem. We bring it on in a back pack which we carry on board.
