Hi Everyone,

Quick update, many of you have reached out wondering when I'm returning. I had a minor setback which required arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder. Okay fine, the YMCA came on the radio and I got very excited. I'm on the road to recovery, will be back onboard by mid-August.

We just got Abe's schedule a few days ago. Too soon to know who will be covering his break.

 

There was a plan in place for Dru Pavlov to do a split contract, covering the 2 month break on Allure, and then the 2 month break on Anthem, but that seems to have changed when Abe's return was delayed due to his surgery. As a result, the rotation on Anthem shifted and the coverage timeframe may no longer in sync with Allure's so that one CD can cover both on a split contract. So, it remains to be seen if it will be Dru, or if Dru will get the 4 month contract on Allure and someone else will do Abe's coverages on Anthem, or something totally different than what we can speculate now.

 

(There are some changes coming up before the end of the summer for which we still have no info, so sometimes we just have to be patient and see how things play out)

I think it's great to know who might be your cd on next cruise, thanks for all the info. We have contacted some to see if there will be Zumba, etc. and many have gotten back to us very quickly. I also think it's nice to compliment the ones that are really good, and tell them all you enjoyed with them. Loved Abe Hughes on anthem, and topi y on serenade, both excellent. It is good for them to hear positive feedback, they are human, and always have to be on their A game.
