Allure of the Seas: Crown Loft vs Hump JS

 Share

Recommended Posts

Which would you choose?

I'm doing my first hump JS this coming November. I'm really excited!!!

I'm daydreaming about doing an Allure cruise in the next couple of years. Wondering if the balcony and the view from the Crown Loft suite would be as impressive as nice as the JS? Can you see the wake from the Crown Loft suite?

I don't think the walk back to the cabin for the Crown Loft vs the hump JS's close proximity to the elevators would be an issue for me.

So, help fuel my daydream? :D

Or maybe I should consider the Grand Suite...?;)

I can tell you from being on Oasis crown loft vs JS/ Grand suites on other ships

Non compare to the loft suite!

Yes you can see the ship's wake, the loft is spacious and balcony very large

With 2 lounge chairs... The view we had is app. 180 degrees looking at the aft of ship from 2 floors (we were almost dead center)

The walk is not to bad as there is a private staircase

that you can access from the Windjammer area and upper pool deck.

We never had a problem getting an elevator and since your sea pass is coded only loft guests can access the area.

JS are ok but I like theGrand suite better because of the layout extra large bathroom and balcony 2 lounges, table and 2 chairs and extras private dining room, pool deck area and chairs, cocktail hours in concierge

Etc.. ( you get non of this in JS....)

Crown loft is very pricey!!!! In comparison to a JS

If you do go for it I would advise take a side cabin or a corner cabin because you have better views, air flow, and privacy....

Downside the zip line comes right across the aft of ship and you occasionally

Get some noise from it!

Are you confusing the Loft suite with the aqua theater suite?

  • 2 weeks later...

Thanks for the replies! I've been dreaming about a loft suite for years!

I know that they're pricey. Which is why this would be a 2018 trip! :D

I looked and Allure will soon have a Grand Loft Suite! *Swoons* Can't wait to read reviews on that!!!

If money is not a concern then the loft suite is the one to go for! They are very unique cabins and are much roomier than a JS. If you are on a budget go with the JS on the hump. You won't get all the suite perks in the JS you would with a loft suite but you spend a lot more money getting the loft suite.
