Minor Platinum with Adult Gold

Hello all...

 

Has anyone had a minor who is platinum in the same room as an adult who is VIFP Gold?

 

My daughter will have her 75th day on the last day of our cruise in April. She will be rooming with my mom who is Gold.

Will they get the Platinum perks in their cabin?

Platinum cruisers will receive Platinum perks during the sailing in which they earn said level.

Carnival's VIFP program doesn't have age limits. Check to see if they still give out Arcade credit for the younger Platinum pax.

What platinum perks are you hoping translate to the gold sailor?

Look on carnival website at vifp perks. If on a 5+ day cruise there will be a plate of chocolate delight delivered to cabin which could be shared. The platinum guest will also receive a logo gift in the cabin. Both (I think) will get a pin and a bottle of water. They will each get a drink coupon, but will have to use them in different places/different times. The platinum guest will receive some bags of free laundry. That's about it for cabin-related perks.

 

A welcome back letter will be there upon arrival outlining all their perks.

 

Oh- and because a platinum guest is in the room they can go to their cabin immediately upon boarding-- nice to drop off carry-on luggage.

Don't forget to print out a 'combined' boarding pass (with both passengers on it). Then they can both wait (and board) in the VIP lounge together.
