Hi everyone!

I need some help choosing a cruise for the New Year. It would be just me and my husband and we were thinking about going to the Caribbean. I'm in my early 30's and he is in his 40's. I'm having a hard time choosing because we only been on a cruise once, it was Royal Caribbean, Liberty of the Sea back in 2013. Also we are at that age gap where we still want to party, but not too hard lol. I was thinking about Royal Caribbean again but my husband wasn't impressed with the food. Do you guys think Celebrity has a better selection? Thank you!

We have sailed several times with Royal Caribbean and have really enjoyed the food. If you're on the east coast you might consider booking Royal Caribbean's brand new Anthem of the Seas which sails from Bayonne, New Jersey.

This is a beautiful ship with a variety of both complementary and specialty restaurants.

If you're interested in Celebrity the Solstice ships are the ones to book, they are the newest and most beautiful, ships like the Reflection, Eclipse, Equinox, Silhouette and Solstice.

Anthem of the Seas is really a hybrid of Royal Caribbean and Solstice Class. Good Luck.

If you want to book the 2015 New Years Eve I would not wait and get this done now as these cruise are very popular.

I wold stick with RCI since you were happy with that and given your ages it will continue to be a good match for you.

Thank you so much guys! We decided to go with Royal Caribbean. Now we have to decide between the Jewel or Adventure lol Both itineraries are very similar, would have to do more research. Definitely trying to book everything this week. We were initially going to DR (I'm from there) but the family won't be available so we didn't see the point of going.
