Switching Rooms

Both my boyfriend and I were comped rooms through Harrah's. He is in a penthouse suite and I received an OV room. My brother and his gf are joining us on the cruise but since we both were comped my brother is in my room and his gf is with my bf. Will we be able to switch the names on the rooms when we check in or will we just have to get extra room keys? The suite has the UBP and the UDP, so it would be great if I could take advantage of that, but I also understand this is a 'free' room.

No, you can't change names but you can get extra keys. Just remember that with that setup you can't take advantage of some other suite perks like VIP breakfast/lunch either.

That's what I figured and I am fine with that, I will be on a cruise and that's all that matters!

Hello, we were in exactly the same position last year. I was comped a Penthouse, my husband was comped an OV. We did the same thing with his sister. But we paid to upgrade to a balcony, and then got the balcony that conencted to the penthouse. And we got extra keys (didnt try to switch rooms because we knew we could not). But to our great surprise, the concierge was kind enough to extend the suite benefits, since we had connecting staterooms, to all four of us.
