It's been 9 years since our last cruise and we are taking one in 11 days for our 10 year anniversary. I don't remember how the S&S card was from our last cruise. Is it an actual card? Do we need a lanyard of some type? We are doing the Cheers program so do they just swipe or scan that?

It's an actual plastic card, like a credit card. They will swipe it for on board purchases. It's also your room key. It does not come with a lanyard, but you can get a free bungy one from the casino or buy one in the gift shop. When you get Bottomless Bubbles and FTTF, they put little stickers on it too. It won't have your pic on it, but it is in the computer and they can see it when they swipe it. It will also have your dining room info on it.

Yes a physical card.

You can use a lanyard if you want or just stick in in your purse or pocket.

Yep they swipe (or scan) it for cheers.

Thanks! I will probably get a bungy thing for it since I probably won't carry my purse or wallet a lot.

DW uses a retractable cord that clips onto her pants or belt or whatever, as I said I just stick mine in my pocket, but beware that it's not near anything magnetic.
