Arriving in Bermuda on Labor Day

Hi Since this is a major holiday can we expect any stores to be open in either Hamilton or the Port area,,,thank you!:)

Hello!?!?! It's only a US Holiday! Bermuda is a British Colony! They do NOT follow the US Federal Holidays or the US calendar.

 

To them, it's......Monday.

Most stores in Hamilton will be closed...however with a cruise ship in port many stores in Dockyard are likely to be open. Transportation will run on a Sunday/holiday schedule.

 

Labour Day is major national holiday in Bermuda, just as Labor Day is in the US .
