RCI CocoCay Snorkel Party Excursion

Question for those who have done Royal's Snorkeling and Party Boat Float (or whatever they call it) excursion on CocoCay:

 

Is there a somewhat safe place on the boat to leave a small bag (flip flops, ID, sunglasses, coverup) while snorkeling? Or do I need to be prepared to just leave my stuff there and trust that nobody will mess with it?

 

On a related note, does anyone have any general tips or info about this excursion? Funny stories?

We felt very safe to leave it. There is someone that stays with the boat

You really don't need to worry about your coverup or sunglasses...they will be fine wherever you leave them! The only ID you need is your seapass..and no one can get on the ship with it...your photo is linked! Men's swim trunks usually have a velcro pocket...the seapass is plastic and can get wet!

We just did this excursion while on the FOS in June and loved it. Fun crew with lively party atmosphere. After snorkeling they stop at a sandbar for swimming . They provide noodles for wading in the water. Bring small bills for the bar. They sell tickets for the drinks.
