If your cabin category is sold out you are not eligible for price drops because you have to match exactly to what you have

Exactly, since your category is sold out, there will not be any prices/price changes since none can be sold.

Thank you so much for this link! My fare slightly increased, but I got 90 dollars of OBC for 40 dollars. I'd say that was a win-win
