computerworks Posted August 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2015 For those familiar, what is the tipping culture and protocol in BA? Taxis, bars, restaurants, tours... Thanks in advance.
Rare Keith1010 Posted August 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Restaurants around 10%. Taxis for a short trip round up and for a longer trip around 10%. Keith
dr__dawggy Posted August 28, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Restaurants 10% Taxis-Nominal if at all. Taxis. Longer trips...to the airport, for example. 10%
pmacher61 Posted August 28, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Since when does a long taxi ride, to/from airport or otherwise, merit any tip? This is news to me... and to my Portena girlfriend who says no tip is standard. Now, if I have bags and the driver has not driven like a cowboy and helps me load/unload the bags I might give him a dollar or two extra.
