Boarding and departure question

What time does NCL allow you into your stateroom? I've been on 2 other cruise lines and one we had to carry our stuff around for awhile, on another we were able to go right in and put our stuff down as soon as we boarded!

 

Also, are we able to carry off our own luggage rather than put it outside our door the night before?

Usually around 1 pm

 

Yes you can do self walk off with your bags

There's usually a place where you can check your carry on bags until your cabin is ready so you don't have to carry it around if you don't want to.

Regarding Princess, you are right, we were able to go directly to our room BUT we weren't allowed to board until 1:30 pm or later. I like being able to board and have lunch.....
