Global Entry for UK Citizens

Since Global Entry is now open for UK citizens when entering the US, does that now mean that my (US citizen) GE works when entering the UK at Heathrow?

For post 2, have close to a year, maybe something will change. If not, no sleep lost.

 

For post 3, first time to the UK, so not qualified.

They are talking about adding preclearance at LHR, but I have read nothing about GE. It's not a big deal anyway. I've never taken that long to get through Immigration and Customs there. Hope she has a good trip!

It's not. There was a narrow window for when UK citizens could apply but it closed shortly thereafter.

 

I'm a UK citizen with GE but have had it for years as a result of being a US Permanent Resident.

 

Not sure why GE for UK Citizens means anything in terms of US citizens entering the UK though. It's a not a common use, reciprocal system.
