KikisDad Posted September 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2015 If we have the drink package and the free gratuities but not the OBC, can we claim the shareholder OBC? Thanks!
WestLakeGirl Posted September 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2015 No, you can try but you will be denied
Bru92 Posted September 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2015 No, you can try but you will be denied Ditto... Same experience. Tried but was denied. Shareholder credit is almost useless these days unless you get an inside cabin and no perks. That said, you should try.
rockdoctor Posted September 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2015 No, The RCL Shareholder Benefit I'd not very useful.

MaseratiCruiser Posted September 2, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2015 Shareholder credit IS useful on repositioning and transatlantic cruises where you otherwise wouldn't be offered a BBB promotion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BCHappyGal Posted September 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 2, 2015 About only place you can claim and even then it is hard to get them to honour our Shareholder credits... About ready to ditch the shares as they are useless... only bought them for the OBC's
CruisingChick Posted September 2, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 2, 2015 It's useful for us. We always book inside cabins after final payment using our Discover Cashback bonus. We get a great rate, money off the cruise portion from Discover and OBC from shareholder benefit. To date we have gotten total of $2,200 in Shareholder OBC. After reviewing records, I will hit the $2,000 shareholder mark in November. :D (And that doesn't count the thousands more in OBC I've received from the online travel agencies.) I have NEVER been denied the shareholder on any of the EIGHT cruises I have requested it. ;) The last several times, my request has been approved in less than 72 hours! :) Edited September 2, 2015 by teecee60
MaseratiCruiser Posted September 2, 2015 #10 Share Posted September 2, 2015 What's the chance one might get approved for a shareholder credit with a 1-2-3 promotion already in play? If submitted could it wipe out the 1-2-3? I don't want to take a chance of that happening if it might.

Just booked 11/4 Connie TA with nothing from Celebrity. Denial email says our pricing is not combine able with OBC. Just don't know what they are doing. Paid $1,199 for balcony. Have asked them for explanation. We will have to talk to you on the TA and find out more. Thanks. Meenu
mpdp Posted September 2, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 2, 2015 I was told it is not combinable with the 1 2 3 go credit...they said one or the other!
CRUZBUDS Posted September 3, 2015 #13 Share Posted September 3, 2015 On board booking credit has been higher on cruises we've booked, we haven't used our shareholder credit for years.
maggie.1008 Posted September 3, 2015 #14 Share Posted September 3, 2015 We have not been able to use Stock Holder`s OBC for years. Princess will let you combine with several other offers.
