Glad you are enjoying... we just spent a month 3 X B2B in October/november on her Yes in an Aqua Sky Suite and Tony the head butler was wonderful as was Valadmir Luminea Maitre d and everyone else super food super service fabulous so glad all is still great....

I'm happy that X is offering the option for you to cancel aithout penalty... the war is not their fault and you should be thankful that X is doing their best to keep everyone safe in these troubling times... I was originally booked on the Apex but switched to a different sailing and yes lost my deposit as per my contract... Not upset as that is what I ahd agreed to and it is not X's fault that I changed my mind/plans

Magic Capet Sky Suites (cheapest suites of the ship) are the 4 suites directly behind/below the Magic Carpet and when it moves it passes in front of these suites... now remember it only basically goes up & down once per day and is empty when traveling.... I prefer the magic carpet corner suites!

Have had this happen to me and always got some OBC as compensation but the alternative dates never worked so just booked a different X crusie .... Due to the uncertainty in the travel industry post Covid I have started to book my air thru Celebrity Ai9r thus if they cancel the crusie they also cancel the air at no cost to you....

We have sailed in an SS on about a dozen voyages and have never been contacted....

I enjoy decorating my door... use magnets to hold the decorations in place... I have made a door decoration that is a memory collage of some of our cruises... Always add some Vancouver Magnets and rarely do any disappear... although I do not mind if they do... And I have been door decorating for about 50 cruises... If a Holiday cruise (i.e. Halloween) I always decorate for that holiday... already have my Witches face for my door packed for my upcoming Halloween cruise...

Yes you can invite friends to dine with you in Luminae for a fee on a space available basis... I have never had a problem booking friends into Luminae to dine with us...

I have sailed in all types of cabins from inside to oceanview to balcony to concierge to aqua to a suite and have always been happy to share my cabin type & layout with fellow guests... I have made wonderful friends aboard the ships.... But I too have unfortunately run into guests who never learned any manners ... I always looked on them as a joke --- just ignore them and when you get home you have a good sotry (make it funny) to tell all your friends and at their expense.... Continue to have a wonderful cruise and do not let them ruin it for you!

Thank you Celebrity for bringing this perk back to the loyal customers who have obtained Zenith level... I am almost there... will make it in early 2024 and I was starting to wonder if it was worth it.... as access to the Retreat Lounge was a major perk draw for us... often we are in a suite but not always....

Have not sailed out of Civitavecchia for many years - last time we did it was a carnival type tent for both embarkation and debarkation.... Will hope for a nice new terminal building with a Retreat Lounge!

In Vancouver instead of paying for late check out enjoy a tour of our wonderful city that drops you at the airport... try "Land & Sea Tours" Or you can deposit your luggage at the luggage check and take the HOHO bus or walk to Gastown and China Town both walkable from the crusie termianl... Then later in teh day grab yoru luggage and ride the Skytrain (our light rapid transit system) to the airport....

Just called X regarding the test for Vaping in the Casino - apprently Vaping will now be allowed in ALL Celebrity Casino's As this cruise is fully paid for ... I will sail but am definitely looking for a new line that does NOT allow smoking or vaping inside.... and yes there are acutally several...

It will be inteesting to see if X's cost cutting measures really help their bottom line or hurt it by allowing other lines to entice very loyal sailors away from X... as these changes have been dumped on us in the last few months and most of us book at least 6 months out if not 12 to 18 months out and most with non refundable deposits it will probably take a year to really see if we the loyal guests are going elsewhere and if that is indeed reflecting on the booked ration of X ships ... I know for years I have only looked at X cruises and right now (as of this past June) I am exploring ALL my options In the past when we were younger we could only afford a cruise every 4 years... and that in the cheapest cabin - now we are cruising in a suite 6+ times a year... yet X does not seem to care...

Have it on my To Do list to phone Celebrity and ask -- but work both today and tomorrow is busy so will be at least Friday before I have a chance I have already done research and have my list of alternative ships / lines which are smoke/vape free

I have 3 upcoming cruises this fall so holding out final decision until I ahve sailed -- but if enough changes then I will jsut loose my deposit on 5 more upcoming in Spring 2024 and try out one of the smaller luxury line ships... Would like to do a test sail on one or more of them out of Florida but many do the Caribbean from some of the southern islands not the mainland... still looking... but a non smoking ship is a big deal for us as we truly value our health ...

A Loyal X cruiser who is nearly at Zenith level... only to find the many changes to X policy mostly negative changes which is very disappointing... I have begun to look at comparable (price wise) options where there is NO SMOKING/VAPING and what is advertised is what you get... It is a bit much when one purchases a cruise that is advertised to include certain features that are after final payment deleated... As I finally got to the point where we could afford a suite I am finding several optiiions...

You will clear US customs in VAncouver at dock prior to boarding ship unless your first port is Victoria... no covid test needed

I was so hopeing that X would pay attention to all our negative feedback Sure looks like they no longer want loyal guests... I have some cruises booked and paid but will switch to another line if X allows vaping inside... IMO it is as bad (smells that way too) as cigarettes I have been doing my research and actually there are a number of lines that do not allow smoking/vaping inside Added to this they have taken away the suite Butlers... again something I paid for when I booked that is GONE ....

IMO they did an excellent job of updating the M class of ship with the "Revoluntionization" I feel the new cabin layout is better and makes the cabin seem more spacious and definitely brighter... (balcony cabin) The Retreat Sundeck is nice but only so much they could do with that... the new layout and furniture of the aft sundeck is really a bonus IMO The buffet also is much better with the food stations rather than the long lineups...
