beckyjohns Posted September 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2015 We will be going to 2 ports that require tendering (Great Stirrup Cay and Grand Cayman) on our November cruise. What is Norwegian's process for tendering? In past cruises, everyone in your party is required to be ready to go before going to a designated lounge to receive tender stickers in numerical groups based on when you arrive. Once you get your stickers, you stay in that lounge until they call your number. Is this how Norwegian works, too? Or can you get tender tickets ahead of time? slaine29 Posted September 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) Just got back off the Epic, we tendered at Cannes, France. you can book your tender tickets in advance from the various touch screens around the ship, or via your room TV, I din't mange to do it by them so went to guest services and they did it for me. Just turn up at the disembarkation point just before your alloted time and away you go. Edited September 9, 2015 by slaine29
cb at sea Posted September 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2015 Unless you need to be 1st off...give it 30 mins...and just get on the next tender.....it's only the 1st ones that have lines!
theloo Posted September 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2015 I would say that it depends on your ship. We were on the Sun in Alaska and there was still a 30+ minute wait even though we did not want to leave until a couple of hours after the first tenders. Rare www3traveler Posted September 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2015 If your have purchased an excursion from Norwegian, you excursion ticket will have the time to board the tenders. It will be announced in the Freestyle Daily what time and the location of to pick up tenders for the following day. Only person from your group needs to get the tickets for all your members. They will be issued by number: 1, 2, 3 etc. Someone from the Cruise staff will make an announcement when they are ready for each group. At some point during the day tender tickets will not be required an announcement will be made when that time comes.
