Aft balcony 7640 on Splendour

We had the corner aft 7636 for the TA in April.

The cabin itself is normal size, the balcony is 3 or 4 times deeper than normal. I think they all had 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a table.

I think we had a little soot twice on a 14 night cruise, not really a problem for us. We've had afts on lots of ships and there is more noticeable vibration on Splendour than on some other ships, but after a couple of days we stopped noticing it. If vibration bothers you don't book these.

The biggest problem with all of the deck 7 afts was with the toilets flushing, many mornings when we got up the toilet did not work. I had read reviews before we went and from those, and what the cabin steward told us, this was an ongoing problem and they just patch it up as they go along.

Despite all this though we are aft lovers and we would still book one of these cabins because the balcony is fabulous.
