WeatherFx Posted September 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2015 Hello folks, just off of Liberty. Cruiserking is doing a great job on reviewing this ship and port here, so I won't add to that. Thought I would post the latest Cruise Compasses for the 5N sailings as of Sept 5th and the menu order for this sailing. Cruise Compass: Day 1 - Cruise Compass Day 2 - Cruise Compass Day 3 - Cruise Compass Day 4 - Cruise Compass Day 5 - Cruise Compass Folder View (All five for download as pdf) Menu Order was: Mojo Saffron Coconut Shiitake (Swapped out for Jasmine last minute) Pimiento . cloudydrms Posted September 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2015 First, let me say thanks for posting the 5 nt Cruise Compasses for the Liberty. I'll be sailing on her next Saturday. But, I have to say I'm sort of disappointed. I'd seen some Cruise Compasses from earlier this spring and seen that they had an aerialist show and a Cirque de Soleil kind of show. To go from that to the same ole same ole Juggler, Comedian, Magician is a grand disappointment. I am looking forward to SNF since it's something different. I'm getting sort of jaded and tired of the comedians and jugglers. I mean how many of them can you see before it gets boring. Wondering if you saw any of the shows and which ones you thought were worth it. Thanks again! I really do appreciate it despite the griping. Ha! WeatherFx Posted September 11, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Day 1 - Magic/Comedy Levent was good. Day 2 - Singer Bobby Arvon was okay, not for me. Day 3 - Comedy Michele Balan, did not see. Day 4 - Comedy/Juggler Billy Prudhomme was okay. Day 5 - Saturday Night Fever was very good. Also, Sophia Band was very good, played regularly in the Olive and Twist. As always, YMMV .

And I was wondering about the Sophia Band, so we'll be sure to catch them. Cindy
Daghis Posted September 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Shiitake (Swapped out for Jasmine last minute) That's interesting. So you didn't have a lobster night during your sailing then?
DonnaK Posted September 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2015 What did you do in Bermuda? We are on the Oct 17 sailing, and still haven't made up our minds! lol
WeatherFx Posted September 12, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted September 12, 2015 That's interesting. So you didn't have a lobster night during your sailing then? That's correct, no lobster at all. :( At dinner in the MDR on Day-3, the waiter said it would be lobster tomorrow night. At dinner on Day-4, I asked the waiter what happened to the lobster after we got the Shiitake menu. He said that they had the menu posted that morning but then later on swapped it out, but wasn't sure of the reason why. .
denatravels Posted September 12, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 12, 2015 I was on the prior Bermuda cruise and we did have lobster. Agreed that the Sophia Band was great!! I thought the entertainment on my Bermuda leg of the cruise was MUCH better than the 9 day Canada I followed it up with. Bobby Arvon was also on the 9 day and I didn't really enjoy him either-- but both cruises were awesome and I had a great time on the Liberty. DaniDanielle Posted September 12, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2015 They did the cirque type show on our 5 day in August plus we had plenty of lobster. Our waiter did say sometimes they list it and then they don't serve it. Poor guy said it is always the waiter who gets blamed for no lobster[emoji31]
fish6 Posted September 12, 2015 #10 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Why did they not have In the Air? I thought this show was always on Liberty. That is very disappointing :(

We are on the Oct 17 sailing, and still haven't made up our minds! lol Got the two day bus/ferry pass $31.50ea. Took bus to Horseshoe Bay 1st day there and 2nd day took ferry to Hamilton and walked around town and got lunch at the Hog Penny Pub as my DH slept in and we missed the St Georges ferry. .
