GottaLuvCruising Posted September 11, 2015 #26 Share Posted September 11, 2015 My PVP says it includes Jan 2016 thru April 2017. I'm about to check if your PVP is correct!

elvis fan Posted September 11, 2015 #28 Share Posted September 11, 2015 When I click on the "get ready" link in the email, it opens a page with tab labeled "Cruise Sale | Carnival" We are poised to book Dream Jan 3rd if the fare is right! We are booked on that cruise already :)
loveJake Posted September 11, 2015 #29 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Some sale, prices are higher for my 12/16 cruise then when I booked. Also since I booked months ago the price has remained the same, only higher today. And it says 12 hour sale!
summersigh Posted September 11, 2015 #30 Share Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) From booking our last few cruises - we're finding that booking early brought the best prices. Both of our last 2 bookings are considerably higher than when we booked late spring. It was true - for us - on HAL and RCCL - not just CCL Edited September 11, 2015 by summersigh
maldenmusic Posted September 11, 2015 #31 Share Posted September 11, 2015 I have received 2 of these in the past few weeks and for the cruises I take it was nothing special. No dates I could cruise and really no savings.
richfret Posted September 11, 2015 #32 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Don't get excited if you are a January, 2016 cruiser. The 12 hour sales price starts with February, 2017 cruises for EARLY SAVER because supposedly, there are no Early Saver rates for January. So then I did a normal mock booking and the "Last Call" Early Saver rates for January, 2016 were $140 higher than my current rate and I would lose my $100 credit. If I keep saving money like this, I would go bankrupt. Oh well, just 127 days until I cruise and I have to start planning the 2017 cruise.
WendyVF Posted September 11, 2015 #33 Share Posted September 11, 2015 It saved us $20 on each cabin for our February 2016 cruise. Every little bit helps!
cruiser fanatic Posted September 11, 2015 #34 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Prices stayed the same for the April 2016 sailings I am looking at.
KLD1019 Posted September 11, 2015 #35 Share Posted September 11, 2015 well i used it and booked just to get the cheaper deposit. we were going to book next week, regardless.
peekinglemer Posted September 11, 2015 #36 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Our November 2016 Vista cruise is almost $200.00 higher now then when we booked it.
Rare pirate4me2 Posted September 11, 2015 #37 Share Posted September 11, 2015 None of my cruises are lower than when I booked them. I will just keep booking like I am now, the day the cruises are released!

travelingla Posted September 11, 2015 #44 Share Posted September 11, 2015 None of my cruises are lower than when I booked them. I will just keep booking like I am now, the day the cruises are released! Curious if there is a special way you find when cruises are released - or do you check daily? Thanks! gtalum Posted September 11, 2015 #46 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Typical Carnival "non-sale" Sale. :D I do love Carnival, but the sales aren't often better than the normal fares.
Rare shof515 Posted September 11, 2015 #47 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Our November 2016 Vista cruise is almost $200.00 higher now then when we booked it. Same for me. It pays to book early and avoid these non-sale events
GrannyFlamingo Posted September 11, 2015 #48 Share Posted September 11, 2015 The price increased since our original booking, but since we needed to add an additional cabin the reduced deposit worked out well for us.
CruzCrazy Posted September 11, 2015 #49 Share Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) Ours is up by $20, but 2 different parties booked the same cruise, so I texted them about the sale and schooled them about early saver price drops. One saved $70 and the other saved $50. Edited September 11, 2015 by CruzCrazy
