When I click on the "get ready" link in the email, it opens a page with tab labeled "Cruise Sale | Carnival"

 

We are poised to book Dream Jan 3rd if the fare is right!

 

We are booked on that cruise already :)

Some sale, prices are higher for my 12/16 cruise then when I booked. Also since I booked months ago the price has remained the same, only higher today. And it says 12 hour sale!

From booking our last few cruises - we're finding that booking early brought the best prices. Both of our last 2 bookings are considerably higher than when we booked late spring.

 

It was true - for us - on HAL and RCCL - not just CCL

I have received 2 of these in the past few weeks and for the cruises I take it was nothing special. No dates I could cruise and really no savings.

Don't get excited if you are a January, 2016 cruiser. The 12 hour sales price starts with February, 2017 cruises for EARLY SAVER because supposedly, there are no Early Saver rates for January. So then I did a normal mock booking and the "Last Call" Early Saver rates for January, 2016 were $140 higher than my current rate and I would lose my $100 credit. If I keep saving money like this, I would go bankrupt. Oh well, just 127 days until I cruise and I have to start planning the 2017 cruise.

Same here for our January 2017 cruise - the price is higher on all promos than what we paid a couple weeks ago when there was no sale.

Yeah no sale...just did a mock booking for cruise I plan to book on board next week...it say 12 hour sail, but its same price as before sale...must be going to raise rate in 12 hours.

Curious if there is a special way you find when cruises are released - or do you check daily?

I do love Carnival, but the sales aren't often better than the normal fares.

The price increased since our original booking, but since we needed to add an additional cabin the reduced deposit worked out well for us.

Ours is up by $20, but 2 different parties booked the same cruise, so I texted them about the sale and schooled them about early saver price drops. One saved $70 and the other saved $50.
